The mission of the Waynesboro Police Department is to work in partnership with our community to enhance the quality of life of our citizens.   We intend to accomplish this goal by providing a professional, compassionate, well trained, and adequately equipped department to protect and serve our citizens.   It is our goal to provide an ethical and professional service to our community and guests, enforcing the law fairly and impartially with integrity and professionalism to ensure peace without oppression, while maintaining compassion for the diverse needs of our residents and visitors.
